Satellite System and operations
We are also active in Satellite Systems and Operations, being involved in the adoption of European SBAS (Satellite-based Augmentation Systems) EGNOS for multimodal transport, as well as in the development of user services on the GSC (GNSS Service Center) for Galileo’s Service Operations.

What role do satellites play in sustainable management of coastal zones? Telespazio Iberica, along with other enterprises in the geoinformation sector, recently completed the first half of the Coastal Zone project, set up to monitor the areas in which the continent meets the sea.
e-GEOS has signed two contracts with the Joint Research Center of the European Commission and with European Union Satellite Centre worth a total of about Euro 37 million, for providing satellite maps for managing emergencies and for security.
