Telespazio provides EUMETSAT with the EUMETCast Europe service, an innovative satellite communication system for the real-time transmission of updated weather data to the meteorological offices of different countries.
To enhance the national aerospace system with new abilities and skills, to encourage the development of infrastructures such as the Grottaglie Airport Test Bed and the Fucino Space Center, to sustain the development of innovations in the field of aerospace through the ESA BIC - Brindisi program.
Telespazio is a partner in the In-Orbit Servicing (IOS) demonstration mission - led by Thales Alenia Space, and also involving Leonardo, Avio and D-ORBIT and awarded in recent days by the Italian Space Agency (ASI).
We offer a wide range of solutions based on the convergence of technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information System), LBS (Location Based Systems), Remote Sensing Techniques, basic Cartography and Thematic Mapping. We are very active in several sectors including Defence and Security, Environment, Utilities and Oil & Gas.
In the field of Satellite Communications, our solutions include Fixed & Mobile satellite broadband, Maritime, Emergency & Security, Broadcasting and other value added services.
We are also active in Satellite Systems and Operations, being involved in the adoption of European SBAS (Satellite-based Augmentation Systems) EGNOS for multimodal transport, as well as in the development of user services on the GSC (GNSS Service Center) for Galileo’s Service Operations.
