Telespazio at the Farnborough International Airshow

London  13 July 2018

Telespazio, one of the Europe’s leaders and one of the world’s main players in satellite solutions and services, participates in the 2018 edition of the Farnborough International Airshow, that will take place from 16 to 22 July.

At the Farnborough exhibition, Telespazio will showcase its space-related skills: from design and development of space systems, to the management of launch services and in-orbit satellite control, geoinformation services, civil and military integrated communications, satellite navigation and localization.

Inside Leonardo’s booth, Telespazio will provide an overview on these activities, with special focus on geoinformation platforms such as braINT(GeoInformation platform for Defense, Image and Actionable Intelligence), dedicated to ground D&I activities and SEonSE (Smart Eyes on the SEas), developed for a complete management of maritime awareness. The European space programmes Galileo and Copernicus in which Telespazio plays important roles will be highlighted, as well as the programmes Optsat and Gokturk, in which the company is involved as prime contractor.

Telespazio acts in the United Kingdom through the Telespazio VEGA UK subsidiary, a company that on the 5th last celebrated in London its first 40 years of activity.

Finally, e-GEOS, a joint venture between Telespazio (80%) and the Italian Space Agency (20%), in the ASI booth will showcase services and applications developed for the COSMO-SkyMed programme, the satellite constellation which represents the absolute best for radar observation from space.
