The event also includes an exhibition space in the institutional stand of the Italian Space Agency (ASI) where Telespazio and e-GEOS will present their Earth observation services and applications for environmental monitoring, the rapid provision of maps for natural disaster management, maritime surveillance, territory monitoring, cartography and information for agriculture.

Every year, in different places, the IAC gathers operators active in the space field, aiming to encourage the circulation of the latest information and the development of contacts and partnerships between space agencies, international organizations and companies in this sector.

The theme of the IAC 2015 ("Space - The Gateway for Mankind's Future") allows an overview of the benefits that space can offer humanity, mainly in research and development, resulting in services that improve the lives of all our planet's inhabitants.
