Telespazio attends the 52nd International Paris Air Show

Le Bourget (Paris)  15 June 2017

From 19 to 25 June 2017, Telespazio will be attending with  Leonardo the 52nd edition of the International Paris Air Show (Parc des Expositions du Bourget), one of the leading events for key players in the aerospace industry.

 

Some of the technological excellence products of the Group will be on display at Leonardo’s static area, including training aircraft, multi-purpose helicopters, unmanned systems, and avionic and Space technologies.

Telespazio will present its abilities in the space industry, developed over 50 years of business, during which the company has been active in the development and design of space systems, the management of launch services and in-orbit satellite control, geo-information services, integrated communication, satellite localisation and navigation.

Telespazio also has a fundamental role in some of the most important European space programs, like Galileo, EGNOSS, Copernicus, and COSMO-SkyMed. For the latter program in particular, Telespazio, through its subsidiary e-GEOS, presents at the Italian Space Agency stand the services and applications it has developed for the most innovative radar satellite constellation in the world.

Telespazio (Leonardo Group) has successfully completed the final milestone "EMM Delivery M4," achieving 100% of the objectives set for the activities entrusted by ASI as part of the Earth, Moon and Mars (EMM) project, funded by the Ministry of University and Research through PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) funds.

Space economy, education and territory take centre stage at the closing event of Space Camp, a project selected and supported by the Fund for the Digital Republic. Space Camp is delivered by Associazione Italiacamp ETS together with Telespazio (Leonardo Group), Innovalley and the "Alessandro Volta" institute in Pescara, the "Luigi di Savoia" institute in Chieti and the "Ettore Majorana" institute in Avezzano, with the scientific contribution of the British Interplanetary Society.
