Telespazio VEGA Deutschland at CeBIT in Hannover

Telespazio takes part with the subsidiary Telespazio VEGA Deutschland in the 2015 edition of CeBIT, the most important international exhibition dedicated to Information and Telecommunications Technologies, held in Hannover (Germany) from 16 to 20 March.

Telespazio VEGA Deutschland, Stand Partner of Vodafone Germany, will present its services in the communications sector, in particular the VSAT networks for small and medium businesses.

At CeBIT, visitors to the Vodafone partner stand will be presented with three new solutions, that can be seamlessly combined with existing cable and mobile communication solutions:

• NetitUp – The NetitUp is a complete package that was designed especially for enterprise clients that work or are based in areas that are badly connected or not covered at all.

• BackitUp – BackitUp follows a trend of today’s business continuity discussion in many companies. Satellite technology represents currently the only true secondary path for backup while meeting the highest security requirements.

• MoveitUp – MoveitUp is aimed at enterprise clients that need or want to be reachable on the road; be it through classic satellite telephony or the conversion of vehicles for mobile network access.

Telespazio selected to help support NASA’s Artemis II mission tracking

Telespazio, a Leonardo Group company, is among the participants selected by NASA under the NASA’s Artemis II Orion One-Way Doppler Measurements Tracking initiative, dedicated to radio-tracking activities for the Artemis II mission, the first crewed mission of the Artemis program, which will see the Orion spacecraft perform an approximately ten-day test flight around the Moon.

Telespazio Ibérica awarded contract to build the Canary Islands satellite constellation

Telespazio Ibérica, the Spanish subsidiary of Telespazio (a Leonardo Group company), has been awarded the €20 million contract to develop the Canary Islands satellite constellation, the first Earth observation system created by a Spanish autonomous community. The company will lead the project, build the ground segment, and manage the constellation.
