Love Planet Earth 2021

Sustainability and development: reconcilable necessities for the Planet’s future

The 2021 edition of Love Planet Earth, the photo calendar from Telespazio and e-GEOS, sees the collaboration of National Geographic. Love Planet Earth 2021 presents a veritable journey into sustainability in various corners of the world: from South Tarawa to Germany, from South Africa to the Bosco Verticale, in Milan.

For 2021 the Love Planet Earth Calendar deals with “Sustainability and development: reconcilable necessities for the Planet’s future” and offers a reflection on the Sustainable Development Goals from the 2030 UN's Agenda. Matters such as the search for an alternative to plastic, respecting biodiversity, sustainable mobility, and the need for cities to be greener, are dealt with month after month by satellite images provided by e-GEOS and photos by National Geographic.

This year also marks Telespazio's 60th anniversary and the Calendar is only the first of a series of initiatives that will follow on from one another throughout the year. In the next 12 months, the Company will recount its past, interwoven with the history of space in Italy, Europe and around the World, but above all its idea of the future, based on focusing on sustainability and the constant drive for innovation.
