TBOX

One vision. One Platform. Every Service.

Telespazio's proprietary platform that integrates and orchestrates in real time LEO, MEO and GEO satellite networks together with 5G and LTE connectivity in real time, creating a single intelligent, resilient and high-performance infrastructure.

TBOX is Telespazio's router designed to ensure business continuity and dynamic traffic routing by automatically selecting the best available satellite or terrestrial connection. It delivers maximum reliability even in the most remote and mission-critical environments. The platform is monitored 24/7 by the Network Control Centre (NCC).

Since 2013, TBOX has continuously evolved to meet the growing demand for mission-critical connectivity. Today, it has reached its fourth generation.

Core Capabilities

  • Firewall

Provides network segmentation through isolated environments, allowing precise control over communications between devices while blocking any unauthorized inbound traffic.

  • Post-Quantum Encryption

All data is encrypted using the most advanced cryptographic standards available (the same standards adopted by financial institutions and governments) designed to withstand future threats posed by quantum computing.

  • Up to Six Simultaneous Connections

Aggregates and manages up to 6 concurrent links, combining the best available satellite and terrestrial technologies.

    Supported connectivity includes:

    Starlink (LEO)

    OneWeb (LEO)

KVH TS / VSAT Ku-Ka (GEO)

    Inmarsat FleetBroadband / Iridium (L-band)

    4G / LTE / 5G

The system can simultaneously use multiple connections of the same type and/or different technologies, according to the most efficient configuration.

  • MPQUIC Bonding

MPQUIC combines multiple satellite and terrestrial connections into a single intelligent and resilient network. If one link becomes unavailable, traffic is automatically reallocated in real time, protecting critical services with near-zero packet loss.

  • Load Balancing & Failover

Load balancing distributes traffic across all active connections to maximize available bandwidth. Failover ensures service continuity by automatically switching to another antenna whenever the primary connection becomes unavailable, with no operational interruption.

  • Crew Welfare

A dedicated Wi-Fi access portal for crew members and guests. It manages user authentication through vouchers or personal credentials, keeps the crew network separate from the corporate network, and enables activity monitoring.

  • VoIP

Enterprise voice communications over satellite internet with guaranteed bandwidth priority, ensuring clear and stable calls even when available connectivity is limited.

  • Static IP

A fixed public IP address permanently assigned to the vessel or remote site. It enables reliable remote access to TBOX and secure connectivity to cameras, onboard systems and corporate VPNs.

  • Traffic Prioritization & Data Usage Control

Prioritizes mission-critical traffic (such as voice communications and business applications) over recreational streaming, while continuously monitoring data consumption by connection or user through configurable usage thresholds.

Competitive advantage

Multipath QUIC

Multipath QUIC

MPQUIC increases both speed and reliability by aggregating the bandwidth of all available WAN connections into a single continuous session that remains active even if one of the links fails.

Static IP

With a static IP, the remote site becomes a fixed and identifiable node within the customer's network rather than relying on dynamic addressing. This provides a secure foundation for integrating additional corporate services.

Static IP
