Telespazio at the Ka Band Satellite Communications Conference

Telespazio participated in the 21st Ka and Broadband Communications Conference held in Bologna from October 12 to 14, 2015. 

The Conference is an important event for national and international experts in the field of satellite communications to learn and share the latest developments in satellite technology and applications, in particular in the field of communications, navigation, Earth observation and exploration of deep space.

The Telespazio group will participate with presentations on new broadband systems and their applications. The following will be presented at the Conference: October 13: at 9:30, "Concept of Operations for ARCTIC Service Scenario"; 17:00, "Athena Fidus  Satellite Terminal Performance", dedicated to the performance of the Athena Fidus satellite’s terminals.

October 14: 8:30 "Demonstration of the use of Satellites complementing Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems integrated in non-segregated airspace 2nd Element", presentation of the DeSIRE 2 project; at 10:40, "GNSS APRON Management Service", which will include the management services of the Global Navigation Satellite System GNSS for geo-radiolocation and land, sea or air navigation; it will be followed by "Localization as a Service", regarding satellite location services.
