Paolo Minciacchi is the new CEO of e-GEOS

The Board of Directors of e-GEOS, a joint venture between Telespazio (80%) and the Italian Space Agency (20%), today appointed Paolo Minciacchi as the new CEO of the company.

Paolo Minciacchi, born in Rome in 1963, graduated in Electronic Engineering from the La Sapienza University of Rome in 1989. He joined Telespazio in 1990, taking on roles with increasing responsibilities.

In 2000, he was appointed as head of the technical services for engineering and operations at the Fucino Space Centre.

 In 2002, he joined the Earth Observation division of Telespazio, holding several management positions that will lead him to work to the plan for the inception of e-GEOS.

In 2009, he took up the position of head of operational planning, industrial management and added value production in the newly created company.

In 2011, he joined Spaceopal, an equal joint venture between Telespazio and DLR-Gesellschaft für Raumfahrtanwendungen, as technical director and member of the executive committee. In 2019, he is appointed as Chief Executing Officer of Spaceopal.
