The
first highly-specialised Summer
School on flight dynamics is to
be held at the Fucino Space Centre,
managed by Telespazio from 7 to
11 July 2008. Lecturers from the
US universities of Illinois and
Princetown and Rome’s “La Sapienza”
university, together
with Telespazio experts will take
part in the initiative dedicated
to "numerical methods in astrodynamics".
A
demonstration of the LIMES (Land
and Sea Integrated Monitoring
for European Security) project
- co-ordinated by Telespazio -
took place successfully in Cyprus
from 7 to 12 June. LIMES is an
Integrated Project co-funded by
the European Commission within
the 6° Framework Programme.
The
Italian Space Agency (ASI), Telespazio’s
Space Operations Academy,
the University and Polytecnic
of Bari, the University of Basilicata
and AIPAS (the Italian association
of small and medium-sized aerospace
companies) have together organised
a specialist residential Summer
School on SAR applications in
image processing. The first course
will be held from 1 to 11 July
2008.
