Leaving a responsible legacy on our planet

The need to leave a responsible legacy on our planet means safeguarding the culture and nature around us. This is the premise behind the Telespazio and e-GEOS 2023 Love Planet Earth calendar, which has now been in print for fifteen years.

From Tanzania to Norway, passing through China, Mexico, Australia and Italy, the 2023 Love Planet Earth calendar flies us around the globe to discover some of the most beautiful and important UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Out of the 1100-plus sites designated by the organisation worldwide, Telespazio and e-GEOS have chosen twelve places, one for each month, immortalised through the radar eyes of the first and second-generation COSMO-SkyMed satellites.

While the previous years’ calendars featured optical and radar images captured from various satellites, the 2023 version reconstructs the months of the year from the Italian Space Agency and the Ministry of Defence’s radar constellation, which every day, thanks to the numerous applications and services it provides, plays a fundamental role in the sustainability of our planet.

Presented on 16 November on occasion of UNESCO,’s anniversary, as well as being printed on biodegradable and sustainable mineral paper, the calendar is free to download and print in every format, both as month-by-month wallpaper, or PDF format.

The Love Planet Earth calendar is part of Telespazio and e-GEOS’ broad commitment to social responsibility and environmental sustainability. A focus that stems from the awareness of the space sector’s close ties with protecting the environment.
