R&D Projects
Telespazio, on the strength of national (ASI, MISE) or international (EC, ESA) funding, carries out R&D activities for the development of new telecommunication, navigation or geo-information products based on emerging solutions or technologies (AI, Deep Learning) or aimed at the development of emerging markets (drones, linked vehicles).
Innovation Award
The Innovation Award is an initiative aimed at valorising the knowledge and know-how corpus, consolidating the innovation culture and strengthening attention to internal intellectual property by promoting synergies among the different industrial sectors of the Group and by stimulating the generation of highly innovative design ideas.

The winners of #TeC 2021, the Open Innovation competition promoted by Leonardo and Telespazio, were awarded today on the stage of the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
