Telespazio, on the strength of national (ASI, MISE) or international (EC, ESA) funding, carries out R&D activities for the development of new telecommunication, navigation or geo-information products based on emerging solutions or technologies (AI, Deep Learning) or aimed at the development of emerging markets (drones, linked vehicles)

The Innovation Award is an initiative aimed at valorising the knowledge and know-how corpus, consolidating the innovation culture and strengthening attention to internal intellectual property by promoting synergies among the different industrial sectors of the Group and by stimulating the generation of highly innovative design ideas

COVID-19: e-GEOS will develop a solution to monitor the economic recovery

e-GEOS has signed a contract with the European Space Agency (ESA) for the development of a solution capable of integrating and analyzing large amounts of  both satellite and non-satellite data, to help monitor the economic recovery after the COVID-19 outbreak, in particular in the port, logistics and freight transport sectors.

Coronavirus Emergency: Telespazio and e-GEOS win the UN contest with a project that integrates satellite data, the web, and Artificial Intelligence

The ECO4CO (Earth Cognitive System for CoViD-19) platform designed by Telespazio, a joint venture between Leonardo (67%) and Thales (33%), and e-GEOS (ASI/Telespazio), has been selected as the winner for the Health Emergency category of the Global Call launched by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) to respond to the Coronavirus emergency.
