Telespazio takes part in the WORLD SATELLITE BUSINESS WEEK

Telespazio takes part in the World Satellite Business Week, to be held in Paris on September 12 to 16. Promoted by Euroconsult, the event brings together chairmen, CEOs, CFOs and heads of companies and institutions, public and private, in the field of satellite communications and information to discuss strategies and business.

The Telespazio group attends the event and participates with speeches by its managers in the Summit for Satellite Financing, to be held on September 12 to 14, and the Summit on Earth Observation Business, scheduled for September 15 to 16.

In detail, the Space sector director of Leonardo-Finmeccanica and CEO of Telespazio Luigi Pasquali will speak Tuesday, September 13 in the panel "Next generation satellite and services".

The head of the Geoinformation Business Line of Telespazio and CEO of e-GEOS Massimo Claudio Comparini will speak on Thursday, September 15 in the panel "Leading satellite operators: Strategies & opportunities".

Finally, on Friday, September 16, the CEO of GAF Peter Volk will speak in the panel "Building services for customers diversifing".

The English edition of Space In our Hands, published by Mimesis International, was presented in Milan on 7 March. Next Wednesday, 28 February, Telespazio will be among the participants in the meeting “Drones and advanced air mobility: flying into the future, between challenges and opportunities”, organised by the Drones and Advanced Air Mobility Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano, which Telespazio has been a partner of since 2021.

The ASI AGILE satellite has re-entered the atmosphere, after being managed in orbit for 17 years by Telespazio

After 17 years of activity, AGILE (Astrorivelatore Gamma a Immagini LEggero, Light Imager for Gamma-ray Astrophysics), the scientific satellite of the Italian Space Agency (ASI), has re-entered the atmosphere. The “passivation” of the satellite, as required by international standards, was correctly carried out on 18 January by the Telespazio technicians in the Fucino Space Centre.
