MENTORE project starts testing period

The MENTORE (Implementation of GNSS
Tracking & Tracing Technologies for EU Regulated
Domains) partners launched Phase II
of the project on 30 January 2008, by validating
the 3 pre-selected pilots and selecting
two additional ones. These will be tested
and analysed thoroughly until Spring 2009.
The MENTORE project, coordinated by Telespazio,
introduces EGNOS/Galileo in regulated “Tracking & Tracing”
users domains. MENTORE is a research & development project
targeting the Commission “Green Paper on Satellite Navigation
Applications”.
