Telespazio exhibits at the Genoa Science Festival

From 25 October to 6 November 2007, Telespazio
will be exhibiting at the Genoa Science Festival,
now in its fifth year. The show will consist of around
400 events held over 13 days, including exhibitions, workshops,
interactive displays, live shows and music. This year’s theme
will be "Curiosity".
As part of the display “La strada
che porta allo Spazio passa per il nostro
Paese” (“The road to space passes
through our Country”) sponsored by the Italian
Space Agency (ASI) with the contribution
of Finmeccanica, Telespazio will be presenting
a series of satellite images of the earth,
showing phenomena such as desertification,
melting ice |
caps, rising sea levels,
deforestation and the unstoppable expansion of the world’s
biggest cities. The seat is Magazzini del Cotone, modulo 9, ground floor.
Telespazio will also take part in the round
table discussion sponsored by Finmeccanica,
"Technological innovation in daily
life", to be held on 3 November
at 10 am in Genoa’s Palazzo Ducale.
