Today the awards ceremony for Telespazio's Innovation award 2018 was held in Rome, this being the fourteenth edition. For the first time the event was hosted by the Italian Space Agency, that opened the doors of its magnificent auditorium at its Tor Vergata head office for the occasion.

BepiColombo: Telespazio embarks on mission to Mercury

The BepiColombo spacecraft, the Europe's first mission to Mercury, was successfully launched on October 19 from the Guiana Space Center. The launch took place at 10.45 pm with an Ariane 5 ECA launcher. Telespazio has contributed into the development of key ground systems and operations preparations for the mission.

GALILEO: FOUR NEW SATELLITES LAUNCHED SUCCESSFULLY

Four new Galileo satellites were successfully launched today from the European spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana. The launch took place at 8.25 local time (13:25 CET) with an Ariane 5 ES launcher. With this launch, the number of in-orbit satellites in the Galileo System rises to 26.
