Telespazio is taking part in Satellite 2019

Telespazio is taking part in Satellite 2019, the 38th edition of the Conference and Exhibition dedicated to the world of communications and satellite services, which will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington DC, from May 6 to 9.

 

Satellite 2019 unites 15,000 aerospace and connectivity thought leaders, entrepreneurs, executives, engineers, end-users from over 100 countries for the largest and most important global satellite technology event of the year.

 

Telespazio will be present at the show with Thales Alenia Space. The two companies, which form the Space Alliance between Leonardo and Thales, share a booth where they will present their main activities in the field of space services and systems.

 

In particular, Telespazio will demonstrate its activities in the satellite operations and communications sector, and in the field of geo-information.

 

On Monday, 6th May, at 15.30, Telespazio and Thales Alenia Space will be offering a welcome cocktail at their stand (Booth 1219-1319).

 

Satellite 2019 provides a very rich timetable of conferences and events. Telespazio will attend many of these events. In particular:

May 7 at 1.30 p.m. Massimo Claudio Comparini, Head of the Line of Business Geo Information of Telespazio and CEO of e-GEOS (Telespazio/ASI), will speak at the panel “Making Earth Observation Data More Accessible and Commercially Actionable”; at 2.45 p.m. Marzio Laurenti, CEO of Telespazio Brasil, will speak at the panel “Ka-, Ku-Band Backhaul Solutions for a New Wireless Age”;

 

May 8 at 10.45 a.m. Alessandro Caranci, Head of the Line of Business Satellite Communications of Telespazio will speak at the panel “Satellites, Teleports and Big Data”;

 

May 9 at 10.45 a.m. Marco Brancati, Head of Innovation and Technical Governance in Telespazio, will speak at the panel “Life After Life Extension: What Comes Next for On-Orbit Serviced Spacecraft?”.

 

Finally, the Space Alliance between Telespazio and Thales Alenia Space will sponsor the 5K Fun Run event on 8th May. Participation in this run is open to the entire Satellite Community and will go along the scenic route of downtown which includes views of: the White House, Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the Capitol Building, and the National Mall.
